Member of the Royal Photographic Society. Elena Marco has a degree in English Philology and a Master's Degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language. Her professional career was developed in the field of education in Spain and abroad. It is upon her return to Spain in 2015 when photography comes to occupy a prominent place in her life. She deepens her technical training in workshops with renowned photographers such as Estela de Castro, Julio Álvarez Yagüe, Laura Len and Jota Barros among others. She decides to enroll as a member of the RSF in 2017 and during the courses 2019-2020 and 2020- 2021 she studies at EFTI obtaining the advanced professional degree in photography. She has also been a member of the collective Crisol de Street Photography in which she has participated as a member and administrator. Since 2025 she is a member of the Aula de Fotografía de la Fundación General de la Universidad de Alcalá where she participates in the training project "La Olla" under the direction of Matías Costa. Elena Marco's exhibition career includes the solo show Azul: el color como excusa at Café Matilda (2018), the first prize of the RSF social competition in color modality (2017-2018 and 2021-2022), and participation in numerous RSF group exhibitions between 2019 and 2025, such as Espacios en off, De la mirada a la palabra, Lavapiés - Retratos de un comercio diverso II, Retratos y autorretratos, Lavapiés en comunidad, Artesanía a la Luz and Un poema y tu mirada. She was also selected in 2020 for the exhibition Fotografías para un encierro at the PhotoArt Festival Torrelavega, and has participated in the group exhibitions of the Aula de Fotografía de la FGUA, including La soledad en la ciudad, Un viaje de ida y vuelta and Esto no es una nevera. In addition, he actively collaborates in the monthly photographic outings of the RSF and in the collective exhibition derived from them (2025).
