Carmen Pérez González studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Cáceres and Plastic Arts at the School of Art and Design in Merida. She has a degree in Teaching from the University of Badajoz. She has always used acrylic and oil in her works and has always been inspired by nature.

Her eagerness to experiment has led her to the creation of a new series made with the artistic technique known as "Monotype". This technique results in unique and surprising works. The new series is dedicated to a form of sailing, commonly called "windsurfing", which is practiced at sea. These works are a vibrant exploration of textures and forms created with acrylics, where experimentation becomes the core of the creative process, while at the same time
the core of the creative process, while the fusion of the figurative and the abstract evokes a series of ethereal emotions. The palette of cold and warm colors and the tactile richness offer an aesthetic experience, which invites reflection and contemplation in any space. It is a celebration of the connection between nature and
nature and being, perhaps influenced by the admiration she feels for Mikel Barceló. Carmen Pérez has sold works in Mérida, Madrid, Córdoba, Cuenca, Murcia, Salamanca, S. Sebastian, Zaráuz, Barcelona and also in Europe in the Netherlands (Wolvega) and in the United Kingdom (Kew).
