Slim Aarons was an American photographer famous for portraying the glamorous life of international high society between the 50s and 70s, capturing millionaires, aristocrats and celebrities in mansions, pools, yachts and exclusive destinations with a luminous, elegant and seemingly spontaneous aesthetic; After working as a military photographer in World War II, he dedicated himself to documenting what he himself defined as "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places", collaborating with magazines such as Life and Holiday, and eventually becoming a visual reference of luxury and sophisticated lifestyle in the twentieth century.
