The central image represents the Descent of Christ to Hell, where he resurrected Adam, Eve and the Righteous of the Old Testament. The upper half of the composition illustrates His own Resurrection from the Tomb. Double icon of the Great Feasts. Surrounded by 28 religious scenes narrating the life and passion of Christ, outer border with inscriptions.
