"Saint Mark".
Oil on wood.
It presents some scratches and chipping along the edge.
Measurements: 37,5 x 37,5 x 2,5 cm.
Russian icon in the shape of a tondo, with the representation of the Evangelist Saint Mark writing the Gospels, which we recognise by the lion that accompanies him (figure of the tetramorph that identifies him). It is a pictorial representation which, although it respects some Orthodox stylistic precepts, shows a notable Western influence.
