Masriera "Utopia" brooch in 18k yellow gold, with the image of a winged nymph turning her back. With soft green gradient, in the enamel of the body and wings, fire "plique-à-jour" and "basse taille", 24 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.20 ct) and 7 sapphires, with a cultured pearl hanging from the base of the body.
Signed "Masriera" and numbered.

Masriera (founded in 1839) revolutionized jewelry in 1901 when Lluís Masriera fused Catalan Modernism with French fire enamel techniques. In 1985 he joined Bagués, another historic Barcelona firm, unifying the artisan workshop under the name Bagués-Masriera to keep the original molds and archives alive. This merger allows current pieces such as "Utopia" to continue to be handmade with the same technical rigor as in the early twentieth century.
