Founded in Barcelona in 1839, Masriera achieved a central position in Modernist jewelry thanks to Lluís Masriera, who, beginning in 1901, profoundly renewed the firm’s aesthetic by integrating French cloisonné techniques with motifs inspired by Symbolism and Naturalism. Nymphs, female figures, insects, and plant forms became part of an unmistakable repertoire, characterized by technical delicacy and rich colors.
