DESCRIPTION
Historicist brooch with a Greco-Roman-inspired coin, ca. 1870. Made of hallmarked silver, featuring a coin set in a circular mount, with a female effigy on the obverse and a male deity—probably Zeus—on the reverse. The frame is decorated with scrollwork, floral motifs, and small applied spherical elements. It fastens with a pin.
Condition: Shows patina consistent with its age.
