Manuel Trincado was a priest of Navarrese origin, presbyter of the town of Cintruénigo, known for his writings, especially the "compendio histórico geográfico y genealógico de los soberanos de Europa" (historical, geographical and genealogical compendium of the sovereigns of Europe). In this particular case he speaks of the courts of Europe, its religious and political system. Naming Italy, its republics, the sovereigns of Germany and princes of the empire, the military orders of all Europe, the bishoprics, etc.
