Natural history is an encyclopedia written in Latin by the Roman imperial procurator Pliny the Elder, a work that intended to cover all the knowledge that was available at that time. It is one of the greatest single works surviving from the Roman Empire today.
This facsimile reproduction of the 1629 edition of the work "Natural History" by Gaius Pliny II, translated by Gerónimo de Huerta, has been published on the initiative of the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain. It consists of 1500 numbered copies and was printed in Madrid in 1982.
