Lot consisting of seven hardcover volumes, mostly in leather, on medical and medicinal subjects. Of note, due to its age and importance, is "Drogas y medicinas" (1578), also known as "Tractado de las drogas y medicinas de las Indias Orientales" published by Cristóbal Acosta, a Portuguese physician and botanist. This treatise, printed in Burgos in 1578 by Martín de Victoria, was a fundamental work on non-European flora, especially of the East Indies, with information on medicinal plants.
