The Salvá Library Catalog, created by Pedro Salvá y Mallén in 1872, is a catalog of rare and valuable books. Pedro Salvá was a renowned bookseller and bibliophile, son of Vicent Salvá Pérez. He continued throughout his life enriching the family library that was formed by his father and composed the Salvá Library Catalog, published posthumously in 1872. The discovery of the tomb of Salvá y Mallén in the cemetery of Sarrión, thanks to the investigation in press of the time of a member, has led the Valencian Bibliographic Society Jerónima Galés, entity founded in the year 1994 by a group of bibliophiles and people who love the graphic and cultural arts. diffusion of the world of the book, carried out, in September of 2023, an act in the cemetery of this locality to honor his memory.
