Facsimile edition of 3,000 copies, numbered, of the 15th century manuscript preserved in the University Library of Valencia. Made on vellum, it has a total of 217 pages written in 15th century style, with the borders and capital letters miniature and colored.
The facsimiles extol the theories and mathematical and cosmographic studies proposed by Ptolemy, a great exponent of ancient astronomy and astronomical geography that followed the line of Eratosthenes and Posidonius (3rd and 2nd centuries B.C.). The original incunabula, collected for the first time coordinates of the world that until then had not been discovered, appearing these lands, seas, rivers and mountains distributed in continents: Europe, Africa and Asia. Claudius Ptolemy's objective was to make a world map with the inhabited geographical areas.
