BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
Louis XV style bergère armchair from the second half of the 19th century.
Rosewood decorated with gilded carvings.
Measurements: 107 x 60 x 70 cm.
Armchair bergère inspired by Louis XV style, with structure in rosewood delicately carved. It is supported on four cabriole legs, moulded (in the case of the front legs with carved decorative elements, located both in the lower and in the upper part). This decoration is continued at the waist of the chest, which is delicately decorated with floral motifs. The armrests, also moulded, are recessed. The oval-shaped backrest is decorated with synthetic mouldings and more detailed ornamentation on the crest. The floral upholstery is elegant and sophisticated. The piece of furniture is raised on castors for easy transport.
