BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
Art Nouveau table; first half of the 20th century.
Oak wood.
It presents loss of the upper left area. One of the legs has defects.
Measurements: 80 x 91 x 61 cm.
Table made of oak wood that sits on four legs reinforced at the feet with gilded metal appliqués. The legs have a stipe-like design that gives lightness to the furniture. Despite the straight lines of both the legs and the rectangular and molded tabletop on the outer perimeter, the piece has an ornamentation of more fluid lines in the skirt area. In this area, both the design of the cut-out fronts and the rounded details that join the legs to the tabletop, together with the carved ornamentation, indicate that this is a piece based on a style inspired by nature.
