Fernandino sofa dated ca. 1825, of clear French Empire influence, made of mahogany and decorated with mahogany palm veneers and moldings and marquetry of classic procedure in fruit woods. With a curved profile, it has arms with sinuous curves opening outwards, typical of the Empire style, as are the laterally curved legs with feet carved in the form of a feline claw. Particularly noteworthy are the cylindrical arm cushions, which cover the angle and determine a geometric inner cutout of the sides that adds dynamism to the design.
