It presents a damage in a leaf.
Measurements: 130 cm (total height); 76 x 35 x 35 cm (lantern).
This modernist lantern shows technical mastery and artistic value. Suspended by a thick link chain, the body of the lantern is structured in a truncated cone shape, with textured glass panels, which gently disperses the light while embellishing the surface. The glass is framed by a wrought iron structure in undulating vegetal forms, typical of the modernist language.
The upper and lower decorations of the lantern evoke stylized acanthus or thistle leaves, which unfold with organic naturalness, simulating spontaneous growth. These elements, typical of modernism, suggest a fusion between art and nature, in line with the ideal of the total work of art of the time.
