Elegant cabinet-bar made around 1930 by the prestigious Maison Dominique, a Parisian firm founded by André Domin and Marcel Genevrière, one of the most refined houses of French Art Deco.

The piece stands out for the architectural purity of its lines and the extraordinary quality of the mahogany, carefully selected and arranged in symmetrical veneers that enhance the depth and richness of the grain. The slightly curved silhouette of the front softens the strict geometry of the volume, while the slender tapered legs bring lightness and verticality to the whole. The discreet silver-plated bronze frames - especially the central circular handle - introduce a metallic accent characteristic of the understated luxury that defined the firm's production.

Maison Dominique was one of the great protagonists of the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs of 1925 and regularly collaborated with leading cabinetmakers and craftsmen. His furniture is characterized by an elegant and refined interpretation of Art Deco, where the nobility of materials and technical perfection prevail over excessive ornamentation.
