This exceptional leaded glass window, created around 1920, features a distinctly ornamental composition, articulated by pink flowers, stylized leaves, and sinuous stems that wind through the piece with an almost organic rhythm. The combination of translucent, cut glass in various shades of green, blue, ochre, and pink takes on a special richness as light passes through it, revealing the full depth and subtlety of its design.
Its structure, constructed using lead profiles and painted metal elements, reflects the decorative tastes of the early decades of the 20th century, when the applied arts played a central role in interior design. The botanical motifs, the stylization of the forms, and the prominence given to color place the piece within the context of the renewal of the decorative arts that characterized the period.
