Table lamp of sculptural design, with a base in architectural style that includes the clock face, with Roman numerals in black on a white background and openwork hands. On the steps is a figure of a young Pierrot playing the lute, accompanied by a beautiful gypsy woman playing the tambourine in an elegant, dance-step position. It is thus a lively scene halfway between genre painting and Italian Commedia dell'Arte, with two round figures modelled with grace and naturalism.
