Centennial coin of 50 Mexican pesos.
The obverse shows the figure of the Winged Victory on a background showing the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes. The reverse shows the National Coat of Arms of Mexico: an eagle on a cactus devouring a snake. Edge engraved with the inscription "INDEPENDENCIA O LIBERTAD" (INDEPENDENCE OR LIBERTY). Mintage: 1945.
