DESCRIPTION
Coin adapted to a gold pendant.
The 1932 Indian Head $10 gold coin is one of the most emblematic circulating pieces in the United States, designed by the famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. The 1932 issue corresponds to the last year of this series, minted between 1907 and 1933. It is a remarkable exponent of classical art in numismatics and American historical heritage. The obverse shows the bust of Lady Liberty wearing a headdress inspired by North American Indian cultures. She is surrounded by 13 stars representing the original states of the Union, with the date 1932 at the bottom. The design fuses classic elegance with an innovative interpretation of the concept of liberty.
