Italian mirror of the XVIIth century, with the frame of ebony of moulded form, in the interior part with decoration of plates of gilded and chiselled bronze, with decorations in relief of angels, with some faults, and superior auction with the same characteristics, typical of the Italian baroque.
Baroque mirrors feature ornate designs in very bright and elegant materials and colours. Nowadays, we will find a wide variety of baroque mirrors on the market, in different materials, designs, shapes and colours. As a general rule, we will find them with a frame made of wood or metal, in ostentatious colours such as gold or silver, along with a multitude of details in its frame, and different shapes.
