Nirona gramophones come from Nier & Ehmer Metallwarenfabrik in Germany. Around 1925 Nirona launched to the market several models of entirely metallic gramophones, initially destined to the children's market. The most remarkable characteristic of these Nirona gramophones lies in their particular amplification system, based on a closed bell of indirect reflection, whose result is of a surprising quality. The mentioned quality made that very soon the factory released models without children's decoration and destined to the adult market.
