Pair of Louis XVI style morillos in chiseled and gilded bronze. Each one of the bodies is articulated by two fluted columns of Ionic order, joined by a transverse frieze crossed by applied laurel leaves. The back is topped by a pine cone and the front by a cauldron with flames, supported by three goat legs.

The Louis XVI style differs from Louis XV in its sobriety and balance. It takes up the austerity of geometric and rectilinear shapes inspired by classical architecture, such as the rectangle, the square, the circle and the oval. The decoration is also simpler, with symmetrical ornaments based on nature and themes of antiquity. Rococo ornamentation disappears, replaced by classical motifs such as garlands, palms, roses, torches, laurel wreaths and spheres.
