BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
Flemish mirror of the 18th century.
Carved wood with walnut veneer. Ebonized moldings.
Presents faults and losses.
Measurements: 66 x 55 x 6 cm.
Eighteenth century Flemish mirror with details in ebonized wood, one of the preferred materials for finishes in cabinetmaking throughout Europe during the Baroque period, but especially in the Netherlands. It is a sober design, very much in keeping with the Dutch clientele of the time, mainly bourgeois.
