Pair of Louis XV style candlesticks; France, late nineteenth century.
Gilded bronze.
Measurements: 20 x 20 x 10 cm (x2).
Pair of Louis XV style candlesticks, with gilded bronze structure. Both present the same ornamentation, each one of them consists of an oval base, with a design of vegetal character from which the strong short conceived as leaves that simulate the two arms of each one of the lights that conform both candelabra. It is a motif worked with attention to detail, expressiveness and naturalism.
