Aggtelek is the artistic name of the project of Gema Perales (Barcelona 1982) and Xandro Vallès (Barcelona 1978). Since 2004 they have participated in solo exhibitions in various galleries, institutions, museums and biennials. In addition to their high participation in art fairs, they have been awarded with the Emerging Artist Award at Beers.Lambert (London 2012). In Saisho they present the series "Second Hand" that plays with the appropriation of ideas and works of modern and contemporary art in an irreverent, witty and domestic way. Through the idea of "second hand" a complex knowledge of the history of art and the art world is constructed and formed from an altered subjectivity, with current issues from a simple and everyday humor.
