Exceptional landscape painter, Beulas was formed in the Superior School of Fine Arts of Madrid, where he went pensioned by the City council and the Deputation of Huesca. In 1951 the School of San Fernando granted him the landscape scholarship of El Paular, and shortly after he was awarded the Marqués de Aledo Prize (1954) and the medal of the Salón de Otoño de Madrid (1955). Also around this time he participates in the Biennials of Barcelona and Venice, and then moves to Rome and enters the Spanish Academy in the city. He travels around Italy painting landscapes, reaching a mature style characterized by sobriety, the linear serenity of his landscapes, elegance and synthesis. Throughout his career, Beulas has won numerous awards, including the International Painting Alla Riva (Italy, 1959), the Diputación Provincial de Barcelona (1964) and the First Medal of the National Exhibition.
