This work reproduces the School of Athens by Rafael Sanzio. It is an idealized representation of human knowledge and of the great minds that influenced Western thought. Raphael, not only pays homage to classical philosophy, but also connects it with the Renaissance by incorporating figures of the time, such as Leonardo da Vinci, who is depicted as Heraclitus.

It is a Renaissance masterpiece that illustrates the quest for knowledge and the harmony between reason, science and philosophy.

Philippus Thomassin (1562-1622), also known as Philippe Thomassin or Filippo Thomassino, was a prominent French engraver and artist active in Rome during the late 16th and early 17th centuries. His work is characterized by his skill in copper engraving and his contribution to the illustration of religious and liturgical texts.
Born in France in 1562, Thomassin moved to Rome, where he developed his artistic career. He specialized in copper engraving, a technique that allowed him to reproduce religious and liturgical scenes in great detail. His style is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a deep religious devotion, elements that are reflected in his works.Thomassin's style is characterized by great technical precision and a deep sense of spirituality.
