Jordi Alcaraz Ruiz started three years ago his project @para4gatos (in social networks), based on photography, editing only and exclusively with mobile device applications. During this period he has made about 1500 visual metaphors, and counting. With an ironic tone, he invites the viewer to discover the poetry hidden in the most common objects, subjecting them to slight transformations and altering their function, context and usual uses. His latest work has been the logo for Instint, a project by Andreu Buenafuente and Albert Om, which premiered in March 2013 with Ferran Adrià as the first speaker. His work is exhibited at the Ormolú Art Gallery (Pamplona). During these years he has done commissions for different music groups (Zulu9.30, Pablo Selnik Quartet, Eufuria, Sexteto Guardiola, etc..) as well as for big brands such as Schwarzkopf Professional. His work has been exhibited during 2012 at La Parada (Barcelona). He has appeared in different publications such as C digital (Mexico) or Shooter Magazine (The first Photomobile Magazine). In the words of Pepe Encinas: "Jordi Alcaraz's works are like a visual poem with two essential components, the iconic and the verbal. They transmit emotions, are imaginative and extraordinary, with a tremendous visual impact, and with a touch of humor, irony and criticism.
