"Loretta II, 1977.
Lithograph, copy 39/200.

Measurements: 50 x 43 cm.
Painter and engraver trained at the Chicago School of Art and the University of Iowa, John Kacere was initially interested in the works of great masters such as Van Gogh, Degas and Toulouse-Lautres, beginning his training as an expressionist painter. However, the turning point in Kacere's artistic career came in the sixties, when his work took a radical turn to enter photorealism. John Kacere is internationally recognized for his depictions of female torsos in underwear. He considers women as a source of life and praises femininity in each of his works, thus becoming an icon of the photorealist movement.
