In this graphic series Miró explores an intimate and playful universe through signs, rhythms and essential colors. The composition is built by means of a black linear structure, light and vibrant, which organizes the space as if it were a visual score. On it float spots of pure color applied with apparent spontaneity, evoking organic forms, imaginary creatures and natural elements of the Mironian "garden".
Considered a key figure in surrealism and 20th century art, Joan Miró's work is in the collections of the world's leading museums, including the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, the MoMA, the Reina Sofía Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., and the MNAM in Paris.
