Absolute icon of the visual culture of the 20th century, this work is part of the famous series dedicated by Andy Warhol to the Chanel Nº 5 bottle, one of the most recognizable and emblematic consumer products of modernity. The image, reproduced by silkscreen printing, combines a vibrant color palette with the characteristic outline that defines the object and underlines its iconic status.

Warhol elevates the perfume bottle to the category of cultural symbol, placing it in a frontal and monumental pictorial space. The work synthesizes the fundamental principles of Pop Art: appropriation of commercial images, seriality, repetition and depersonalization of the artistic gesture, transforming an everyday object into an image of strong aesthetic and conceptual impact.

The posthumous editions produced under the supervision of ARS (Artists Rights Society) maintain a close fidelity to the original models developed by the artist during his lifetime and occupy a prominent place in the contemporary graphic art market, being especially appreciated by collectors of pop art and visual culture of the 20th century.
