CRISTINA IGLESIAS (San Sebastian, 1956).
"La muralla".
Etching, copy 45/75.
Signed and justified by hand.
Measurements: 56 x 76 cm (paper).
Etching by Cristina Iglesias in which the artist evokes a stony and monumental structure by means of strips of dark matter that frame a central space of light. A work with a strong tactile and architectural charge, representative of her interest in limits, memory and the construction of space.

Trained in London at the Chelsea School of Art and later at the Pratt Institute thanks to a Fulbright scholarship, she has developed a career marked by spatial and material research, combined with her teaching work at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich.
