Painter of precocious talent, Peter Klasen was formed in the Superior School of Fine Arts of Berlin between 1956 and 1959, and at the beginning of the sixties he settles in Paris, where soon he will be one of the most recognized members of the movement of the New Figuration. He elaborates a personal plastic language, exploring and reinterpreting the signs of our urban environment and popular culture. He is currently represented in important international museums, as well as in leading galleries in Germany, Italy, France, the United States, Spain and other countries.
