Multidisciplinary artist, Héctor Julio Páride Carybé stands out as much in the world of painting as in drawing, illustration, ceramics, sculpture, muralism and even research, history and journalism. His work is characterized by a cheerful and carefree style, while still reflecting the Caribbean culture, characterized by capoeira, Afro-Brazilian rituals and the nature of the Bay of El Salvador. Carybé began his artistic career with the illustration of books by famous writers, and later worked for different newspapers, this time as an investigative journalist. His most iconic works are the murals of the Memorial of Latin America, located in the city of Sao Paulo, and the murals of the Miami International Airport, works that crowned Carybé as an outstanding personality within the Latin American panorama.
