Arun Roy Lucht is an artist specializing in engraving, whose work is characterized by a delicate balance between geometry and color. He trained at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Gráficas (1979) and at the Academia de Dibujo y Pintura Artium in Madrid (1981), where he acquired the fundamentals that allowed him to develop techniques such as sugar aquatint, etching and engraving.
Throughout his career, Lucht has explored the superimposition of geometric shapes with fields of color that seem to move and merge, creating meticulous and elegant compositions that invite a leisurely and sensory visual journey. His work has been recognized with awards such as the I National Engraving Prize "Ciudad de Valladolid" (2007), the 1st Prize II Engraving Contest "Fundación Caja de Madrid" (1995) and the 2nd Prize "Ayuntamiento de Cebreros" (1992 and 1996).
Lucht has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Spain (Madrid, Valencia, Ciudad Real) and in Europe, including Munich, Bologna and Sweden, and his pieces are part of important collections and museums, including the National Library of Madrid, the Museum of International Graphic Art of Fredrikstad and the Congress of Deputies.
