John Dunivant is a painter and multimedia artist working in Detroit and its metropolitan area. His best known project, Theatre Bizarre, was an immersive Halloween costume show, completely illegal, that ended up being shut down by the city of Detroit. In 2011 he was awarded the Kresge Fellowship.
