The poster "Cycles Daring" is a magnificent example of the aesthetic transition towards Art Nouveau and early Art Deco, where mythology is put at the service of the nascent modern industry. It stands out for its powerful allegory of speed and progress, personified in a winged female figure -probably a representation of Fame or Triumph- flying over a European city while playing a trumpet and riding a bicycle with an almost divine ease. The composition uses a sinuous, organic typography typical of the late 19th century, but introduces elements of technical modernity by promoting "Pneus L'Electric", highlighting the values of "Solidité" and "Elégance" that defined the luxury market of the time. The use of vibrant yellow in the background generates a dramatic contrast with the lithographic drawing in gray and sepia tones, achieving a dynamic image where the movement of the woman's hair and wings seem to be pushed by the very wind of industrial progress, turning an everyday object like the bicycle into an icon of freedom and status.
