Measurements: 54 x 70 cm (print); 64 x 80 cm (paper).
This color lithograph is representative of the poetic and symbolic imagery of Corneille, a leading figure of the CoBrA group.
Corneille's work is characterized by a colorful and spontaneous style, in which he combines human figures, animals and natural elements in compositions with a strong poetic charge.
After his beginnings in the Netherlands and Belgium, he developed a wide international career, settling in Paris. His language evolved towards a free figuration, marked by the use of color and formal simplification.
His work is present in important international collections, such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Centre Pompidou or the MoMA, consolidating his relevance in the European art of the 20th century.
