This graphic work by Antoni Clavé is inscribed in a stage of full maturity, where the artist deepens in the technical and material experimentation. The composition is articulated from the contrast between the emptiness, the image and the subtle presence of the embossing, which reveals barely perceptible shapes like the imprint of a hand.

Clavé's work, present in institutions such as the Tate Gallery, the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris, the British Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao and the Museo Reina Sofía, is today considered fundamental in the renewal of 20th century Spanish art.
