This graphic work by Antoni Clavé belongs to a stage of full maturity in which the artist develops a language based on the superposition of techniques and material experimentation. The composition combines printed images, gestural elements and areas in relief, generating a complex surface rich in nuances.
Clavé's work, present in institutions such as the Tate Gallery, the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris, the British Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao and the Museo Reina Sofía, is today considered fundamental in the renewal of Spanish art in the 20th century.
