In *Cabeza de pájaros*, Moisés Yagües draws on one of the most recognizable motifs in his imagery: the human head understood as a space where thoughts, memories, and ideas take shape. The bold black silhouette is a hallmark of the composition, contrasting with the small, individually colored birds, whose hand-drawn details introduce a unique element to the print and accentuate the narrative and playful nature of the composition.
Graphic art plays an important role in Yagües’s career. He won the First National Printmaking Prize for Young Artists in 2007 and the Corzón Prize at the National Graphic Art Awards in 2008. His work is represented in institutions such as the National Library of Spain, the Casa de la Moneda Foundation, and the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Printmaking in Marbella.
