In the composition we see Rachel and Leah, in a stop in the way of escape, one of them is washing herself and the other one holds the camels, we also see a personage drawing water from a well and a shepherd watering the cattle. Rachel and Leah were two of Laban's daughters. Jacob married both of them and managed to flee from Laban, who had deceived him, taking his sons and their wives with him on camels. Rachel stole her father's household idols. When Laban heard of it, he went out after them, overtaking them on Mount Gilead.
