In this painting, an oil on canvas of devotional type, intended for an altar or chapel, we see the adoration of the Magi, with a composition of classical type conceived as a frieze. One of the interesting features of this painting is that the author moves the nativity to a second plane with the figures of less size and the kings and their pages are those who are in the foreground of the scene. In such a way that the author gives greater prominence to secondary characters of the biblical scene. In addition, it should be noted that the imposing presence of both the natural and architectural landscape shows us the artist's interest in a scene closer to the costumbrismo as to religious representations. In fact, each plane has a set of characters, developing different activities independently.
