School of JOSÉ CUSACHS Y CUSACHS (Montpellier, France, 1851 - Barcelona, 1908).
"Military men conversing".
Oil on panel.
Measurements: 12 x 22 cm; 24.5 x 34 cm (frame).
The panel follows in the footsteps of the painter José Cusachs, who specialized in depicting military and equestrian themes. As in the production of the Catalan master, here the style is markedly realistic and academic, with a neat technique and precise drawing.
