RAMÓN PALMAROLA ROMEU (Barcelona, 1877 - 1954).
"Riera de Sant Cugat".
Oil on canvas.
Titled on the back.
Measurements: 36 x 25 cm; 39 x 28 cm (frame).
Mainly dedicated to genre themes, landscape and portrait, Palmarola trained with the painters Ramón Martí Alsina and Ricardo Martí Aguiló. He exhibited his work in Spain, Paris and South America, especially highlighting his personal exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in Madrid (1930) and the Sala Parés in Barcelona (1943). He is represented in the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba, as well as in several private collections.
