Italian painter still life painter settled in Barcelona, Enrico Creci or Cresi developed his career between the last years of the XIX century and the first decades of the XX, and cultivated a language of clear baroque inheritance, that drinks in equal parts of influences of the Italian, Spanish and Flemish baroque. His is a sumptuous painting, of careful and skillfully achieved qualities, of sober and simple compositions but at the same time rich in its chromatic and luminous variety, in the dynamism of the arrangement of its different elements, in the warm atmosphere worked based on half shadows and more illuminated foregrounds. Creci is currently represented in the Museu d'Art de Sabadell, as well as in various private collections.
