DESCRIPTION
RAMÓN STOLZ SEGUÍ, (Valencia, 1872 - 1924).

Signed in the lower right corner.
Measurements: 19 x 30 cm,. 29 x 39 cm. (frame).
Painter and muralist formed in the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia and in that of San Fernando of Madrid. In the year 1898 he moved to Paris, where he deepened in the work of still lifes, painting of flowers and in the genre costumbrista. His technique was characterized by being very close to the pictorial preciosismo, and in particular, with the painting of Bernardo Ferrándiz. After this period abroad, he decided to return to his hometown, from where he took part in various national and regional competitions, thanks to which he received several awards such as the Second Medal at the National Exhibition in Madrid. His work is represented in the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, in the City Hall of the same city, as well as in various private and public, national and international collections.
